One System, All Children: Better Together

The PEPTI project addresses critical needs in early education transition and inclusive instructional practices. Through evidence-based strategies, family engagement, and interagency collaboration, we aim to create a more inclusive and equitable early education system.

Vision

To create a world where every child, of every ability, has the opportunity to thrive in a supportive and nurturing educational environment.

MISSION

To provide high-quality professional learning opportunities to early intervention and preschool staff on inclusion and transition practices and promote statewide adoption and sustainability through interagency collaboration.
FUNDING

State Personnel Development Grant (SPDG)

Funding for PEPTI comes from a five-year State Personnel Development Grant (SPDG) awarded by the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) at the U.S. Department of Education. SPDG grants are competitively awarded to state education agencies to help reform and improve state systems for personnel preparation and professional development. The Napa County Office of Education has a long history of administering SPDG grants in collaboration with the California Department of Education. A list of current SPDG Grantees is available here.
